In February Katzenstein was named Photographer in Residence for the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance, the nonprofit organization established by jazz composed Arturo O’Farrill in 2007 to promote Afro Latin Jazz. The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra is one of the premiere jazz orchestras in the world, performing regularly at Birdland in NYC on Sunday nights and in concert throughout the year.
